Norman Baron is an avid, voracious, and broad-based reader. Now that he is retired, he has time to write, he loves to write and read. He has written a book for and about his granddaughter, Maya, who is a delight to be around. She inspired him to write this book because of her wit, smartness, and rascally personality.

Norman loves to fly. He has been a pilot of single and multi-engine planes for years, and at one time, owned a hot air balloon.

After retirement, he moved to Arizona with his wife to spend more time with their granddaughter, Maya.
