He has written a book for and about his granddaughter, Maya, who is a delight to be around. She inspired him to write this book because of her wit, smartness, and rascally personality.

Norman loves to fly. He has been a pilot of single and multi-engine planes for years, and at one time, owned a hot air balloon.
