Noman Baron is an avid, voracious, and broad-based reader. Now he has time to write full-time. He has written a book for and about his granddaughter, Maya, who is a delight to be around. She inspired him to write this book because of her wit, smartness, and rascally personality.

Norman loves to fly. He has been a pilot of single and multi-engine planes for years, and at one time, owned a hot air balloon.

Norman was a vascular and general surgeon in a rural underserved area in the desert of Southern Califonia, near the Mexican border, for over 40 years. After retirement, he moved to Arizona with his wife to spend more time with their granddaughter, Maya.
